Truth and Strength

Eleanor Roosevelt has been quoted as saying,  “People grow through experience if they meet life honestly and courageously. This is how character is built.”  In recent months I have experienced a new level of honesty as I am facing weaknesses deep within.  It’s so sweet to confess that I am used up and then to watch the completer of our faith, Jesus, saturate my soul with His presence – wow the strength and courage – the praise and joy – the peace and love.  I can be quoted as saying, “Strength for life is the fruit of truth, God’s Word, planted in my soul.”  What about you, how is Jesus shaping your character today?
